Basic Information
-
We wear our uniform with pride recognizing the time and effort gone into those who wore the patches before us. We demonstrate ownership and our skills while recognizing the traditions of the program along with the sacrifices of time, energy, and effort that have been made in the program before us. When in uniform, we represent all of sports medicine as a whole, our actions and speech reflect on our program and we wear our uniform with respect for those who came before us and those who will carry our patches after us.
-
Trainers must be in uniform for all training events. This includes uniform wear days, practices, games, and field exercises. Trainers must be in uniform at school during specified uniform days. Trainers must wear their uniform to school during any home game for the sport they are training.
-
Trainers in uniform (except only in Sports Med sweater) are considered to be on duty in their area. Therefore they may not be at a game or event in uniform unless they have been assigned to that event. Trainers must endeavor to not wear uniforms outside of training events (in public).
