Trainer of the Year award is given to the blue shirt and black shirt trainer that acts beyond the call of duty to assist their fellow students and community. A Trainer of the Year acts with integrity, dedication, and excellence in all things. These individuals are recognized by the administration and faculty for their exceptionalism. In recognition their name tapes change to gold on blue background. They are also recognized in front of their class at the awards ceremony.

Coach’s Award is given to the student trainer who preformed exceptionally well for their team and made a signficant impact on their season. At the end of each season, each sport specific coach is given the opportunity to nominate one of their assigned trainers.  Some coaches may not choose to nominate a trainer and some will. At the end of the year all the nominations are reviewed by the administration and faculty with the most impactful selected. In recognition their name tapes change to gold on white background. They are also recognized in front of their class at the awards ceremony.

The Teammate Award is given by the students to the blue shirt and black shirt who best exemplified what it meant to be a teammate to their peers. These individuals are always there for each other and model the values and spirit of the team. In recognition their name tapes change to gold on white background. They are also recognized in front of their class at the awards ceremony.

The Recognition Award is awarded to a 1st year student who has distinguished themselves on the sideline. This award is given by a sport specific coach to a black shirt who not just did a great job but really went above and beyond for the team. This award is rarely awarded and it is only given by sport specific coaches who might only see a black shirt once or twice a season. In recognition their name tapes change to gold on white background. They are also recognized in front of their class at the awards ceremony and at the team banquet that they supported.
